I'm Dr. Alex Mohseni. Over the last few years, a steady stream of physicians and other clinicians have reached out with the same question: "How do I take my career into the next stage?" I'd try to help however I could—sometimes in a quick call, sometimes over a longer stretch of mentorship—and I kept running into the same reality: most of us were never taught how healthcare actually works as a business and an operating system, even though that system shapes nearly everything we do.
What surprised me was how hard it is to find the practical, usable version of this knowledge in one place. Even many healthcare MBA paths don't really teach the day-to-day mechanics you need to operate as an executive in this space. The moment that clicked for me was going through Optum's physician executive training program ("Sequoia")—one of the most formative experiences of my career. It wasn't about more theory. It was structured, real-world training from people who had actually done the real work.
ClinX Academy is my attempt to make that kind of learning more accessible.
I teamed up with more than 20 accomplished faculty to put our hard-won knowledge, insights and experience into a single program, and to pair it with what I think matters just as much: community—peers you can learn alongside, and mentors you can lean on when you're making real decisions.
